We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at email@example.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send 3-5 photos including multiple angles of the damaged area to email@example.com and we will help with filing and processing a claim on your behalf.
Note that the option to report damage claims is only available for 48 hours after delivery.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically check at the warehouse to confirm that it is in stock and available for shipment. If your item(s) are available for shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
We utilize appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to help protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of any information you may provide at our site. We use industry-standard, 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technologies when transferring and receiving customer data.
If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five to seven business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you've provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Taxes on Shipping:
We do not charge taxes on shipping.
Taxes regarding product sales:
We charge taxes, but only for a few states. Let us explain, we are sales tax-free for 50 out of 52 US States and Territories. There are 2 states in which we are required to collect sales tax for because we either have a physical location, drop-shipper, or nexus located in those states. Moreover, the states we collect sales tax for are Wyoming and California. Taxes will vary from state, county, and district where you live. We are 100% sales tax-free for all states other than the 2 states listed above, ALL OTHER STATES ARE FREE FROM SALES TAX.
Backyard Kitchen Pros is dedicated to ensuring that the thousands of products we store in our warehouse are in stock and ready to ship. However, sometimes demand outpaces supply and we fall short. Backordered items are still available for purchase online and will ship as soon as they become available.
If an item is backordered, we try to be as clear and accurate as we can on the items product page to give you estimated delivery dates. Items that are currently backordered are listed on the product page with an “Expected to ship on (Date)” near the item description area and can sometimes be added on your orders email confirmation link. Please be aware that delivery dates on backordered items are approximate and subject to change.
There are times when a shipment of backordered products is unexpectedly delayed from our vendors and your promised delivery date may change. If this happens, we will send you an email indicating which items have been delayed and its new estimated shipping date. If the new shipping date is unacceptable to you, you can contact our Customer Service team at 1 (866) 274-8486.
Cancellations, Refunds, & Restocking Fee:
Backyard Kitchen Pros does not administer refunds due to buyer's remorse. You must take delivery of the ordered product before submitting a claim for return. If you're not satisfied with an item that you purchased you can initiate a return within 30 days after delivery for a refund as long as the item is in its original condition and packaging. Items that have been used or modified in any way may not be returned. Orders returned, for reasons other than a defective item (upon receiving), are subject to a restocking fee that is equal to 38% of the price of your order. You (the buyer) are responsible for any return freight (shipping) costs for BOTH directions (from the warehouse to you, and back to the warehouse). The purchase price minus these fees and costs will then be refunded to you when the warehouse processes your item (product must be returned within 30 days, new, unused, and in original packaging). Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. Orders canceled later than 12 hours after purchase are subject to a 23% cancellation administration fee.
Please make sure to measure the necessary space requirements, etc. before purchasing! After 30 days, we will help administer a return only if the item is damaged and still under the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's warranties vary from 1 to 3 years depending on the company.
Custom Made Products and Products Made to order:
We will not be allowed to return or cancel these orders because they are made specifically for your unique situation and/or customized for your own unique needs. As you probably are aware additional labor, time, and materials are required to make sure these products are made especially for you.
